The fact that a mere economic management of productive systems is leading humanity to the destruction of the planet is, in our opinion, quite clear. Sustainability is a complex concept that needs to be addressed with a complex approach. One singular function, although very suitable, will never be exhaustive and able to explain all the aspects of sustainability.
