The aim of this work is to realise a scalable architecture for the provision of certain services to students and learners. During the course of a PRIN research project, an IT infrastructure is being set up for the consultation of Italian lexical combinations by students and learners interested in studying Italian. The system is proposed on an experimental basis, by means of a Progressive Web App that allows users to access and consult the developed contents independently of the operating system they use, without necessarily requiring the installation of an application developed in the native machine language of the operating system. This article explains in detail how the backend of the system is realised, with a focus on the development and testing phase. All the services that will be explained have been containerised via Docker, in order to guarantee portability, scalability of the system and future improvements.
