Gravity anomaly data provides fundamental contributions to the investigation of the geological features at the crustal scale. In this work we present new gravity data acquired over the Quaternary Colfiorito basin in central Italy. After standard correction of such new data, we present the Bouguer anomaly map that we calculate from it. We also attempt a first order modeling of the data by calculating regional and residual field anomalies over the basin and an estimate of the depth to the bedrock beneath the basin infill. The density of gravity stations over the basin improved from less than 1 station per square kilometer in the previously available data, to over 20 stations per square kilometer. This, coupled with the maps of the residual anomaly and of the depth to the bedrock, will likely support a more detailed and reliable investigation of the basin.
