Abstract

The nature paths represent a inestimable landscaped patrimony, an instrument of knowledge of the landscape itself that can be interpreted and be inquired in its various aspects, taking into consideration the floristic and etnobotanic emergencies, archaeological sites and all the elements that define the landscape. In this study have been analyzed three nature paths, two of which are in proximity of rivers and that replaces the old Spoleto-Norcia railway's tracing. The present contribution intends to illustrate the first results of a census of the nature paths in the Province of Perugia, these represent tools able to increase the value of a territory under different aspects and are also able to maintain the biodiversity in urbanized contexts.
