Abstract
In this paper we discuss the important concept of conditioning, emphasizing the role of a coherent setting for a general approach able to encompass many existing theories of uncertainty. Among conditional measures, we deepen here conditional probability, which allows to deal also, from a unifying point of view and with a new perspective, with concepts such as fuzzy sets theory and the relevant perception-based information, possibility measures, information measures, stochastic independence, default reasoning.File in questo prodotto:
