This article examines the role of architectural drawing as a critical and philological tool in the reconstruction processes of lost industrial heritage, focusing on the former Perugina factory complex located in the Fontivegge district of the Italian city of Perugia, shaped by railway expansion and industrial development in the twentieth century. Based on the collection and high-resolution digitization of heterogeneous archival materials, the demolished complex has been graphically reconstructed through orthographic drawings, three-dimensional modelling, and the development of an interactive exploratory platform. The research adopts a visual philology and representational stratigraphy approach, wherein graphic representation operates as an epistemological device to interpret, reactivate, and communicate the spatial and cultural memory of an evolving urban landscape.

Abstract
This article examines the role of architectural drawing as a critical and philological tool in the reconstruction processes of lost industrial heritage, focusing on the former Perugina factory complex located in the Fontivegge district of the Italian city of Perugia, shaped by railway expansion and industrial development in the twentieth century. Based on the collection and high-resolution digitization of heterogeneous archival materials, the demolished complex has been graphically reconstructed through orthographic drawings, three-dimensional modelling, and the development of an interactive exploratory platform. The research adopts a visual philology and representational stratigraphy approach, wherein graphic representation operates as an epistemological device to interpret, reactivate, and communicate the spatial and cultural memory of an evolving urban landscape.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
