Carcinoma spinocellulare del labbro inferiore in gemelli omozigoti: case report.

Squamous cell carcinoma is a malignant tumor, formed by cells that get to keratinization, and can arise every tipe of epithelium. This carcinoma of the skin represents an high grade of incidence pathology, for the white races, wyith hight possibility to metastasize and subsequent epidemiological, clinical and social implications. The etiopathogenetic factors, reported in the literature, do not include genethic one that predispose to this pathology, except Xeroderma Pigmentosus. Exceedingly, in literature, there are no evidence of squamous cell carcinoma growth in the same site, and at the same time in identical twins. Just for this reason, we want to report a case of a couple of identical twins. that presented with a lesion histologically corresponding to a squamous cell carcinoma. That lesion was localized at the same site and presented simultaneous growth. We want to point out and discuss the etiopathogenetic and clinical considerations that can be drawn from this case
