The synthesis of a number of thiosemicarbazone, phenylthiosemicarbazone, oxime and oxime O-ester derivatives of benzo- naphto- and quinolino-1,4-thiazines and 1,5-thiazepines is described. All the compounds were tested in vitro for their antimicrobial activity.
