A computer-aided design procedure is proposed for improving the efficiency of the moment's method analysis of planar structures, such as microstrip circuits and layered low temperature cofired ceramics (LTCC). The procedure, based on the interpolation of the impedance matrix elements, obtained from a suitably separated closed-form Green's function, allows one to obtain a very wide-band frequency response (e.g. 2-12 GHz) by the evaluation of very few (typically three) impedance matrices. An example of application is provided for the case of an LTCC structure.

Abstract
A computer-aided design procedure is proposed for improving the efficiency of the moment's method analysis of planar structures, such as microstrip circuits and layered low temperature cofired ceramics (LTCC). The procedure, based on the interpolation of the impedance matrix elements, obtained from a suitably separated closed-form Green's function, allows one to obtain a very wide-band frequency response (e.g. 2-12 GHz) by the evaluation of very few (typically three) impedance matrices. An example of application is provided for the case of an LTCC structure.File in questo prodotto:
