We use a zero-curvature method together with an approximation process to find solutions of all equations in a commuting hierarchy containing the Korteweg-de Vries (K-dV) equation, when the initial condition satisfies the “infinite order stationary K-dV equation” and determines a Schroedinger potential lying in the class of “reflectionless” Sturm-Liouville potentials.
