The necessity of ensure an adequate operating period to vessel sailing in shallow muddy water, requires to realize some modifications to the propulsor cooling circuit. Infact this is the first vessel component that can be seriously damaged by shells, sand and other solid materials ling on the water bottom. For trying to solve the aforementioned problems related to a passenger vessel operating on shallow, muddy water, in a natural reservoire in an central Italy region, a modification to the propulsors double openclosed cooling dicruit have been proposed and analysed both from the technical than from the economical point of view.

Abstract
