Reviewing the criteria of the anthology of Latin poetry, recently published - as vol. VI - in the well-known series Lo spazio letterario di Roma antica, the importance of the text in the literary-historical studies is here widely shown and praised. Moreover some new exegetical and critical hints, expecially regarding Catullus and Seneca, are provided, starting from the suggestions offered in the footnotes of the poetical texts.
