Abstract
The elegies attributed to Sulpicia – as everybody knows – are found in the third book of the Corpus Tibullianum. The poetess dealsl with themes peculiar to the genre "love-elegy" and produces a kind of rhetorical poetryy, according to the poetic of her age. So we aim to give a reading of the elegidia by the poetess on the basis of the so called reductio ad rhetoricam, underlining the figure of speech, called antitheton.File in questo prodotto:
