Abstract
This paper deals with the design of a simulation testbed for assessing the performance of the radio access segment in adaptive TDMA cellular systems. The testbed considers the combined effects of a range of techniques key to the traffic performance. The paper introduces the main features of the testbed in the framework of a novel architecture for the radio access. Such an architecture is based on functional modeling ideas similar to those applied for fixed network functions supporting third generation mobile systemsFile in questo prodotto:
