Ultrasonic identification of cardiac and determination of heart rate have been shown to be useful indicators of fetal health and age in human. Embryonic heart rate in 9 different bitches during days 30 to 63 of prgenancy by M-mode bidimensional guided ultrosonography was studiedd. Our results suggest that M-mode technique is useful to detect fetal heart rate.
