The static structure of orthobaric liquid-hydrogen sulphide has been investigated by means of x-ray diffraction. Measurements were performed at room temperature. A comparison with data from a liquid with Lennard-Jones (LJ) interactions and water, at about the same reduced temperatures, is presented. It is also shown that a molecular dynamics simulation of liquid H2S gives a reasonable agreement with our experimental data.
