The vibrational density of states in potassium dihydrogen phosphate is studied by means of neutron scattering in the energy range 40 to 400 meV above and below the order disorder transition temperature. The present measurement shows that rather long-range forces are probably present, while some fluctuation of the force constants affects the vibrational spectrum in the disordered phase.
