Abstract
A simple phenomenological model for the high fusion rate recently observed in transition metal deuterides is presented. It is shown that the existence of localized vibrational modes of deuterium atoms, like those actually found in NbD and TaD, can account for the experimental fusion rates.File in questo prodotto:
