Neutron diffraction measurements on orthobaric liquid chlorine at four thermodynamic states, almost equally spaced from triple up to critical point, are reported. The data are analyzed to extract information on the orientational correlations. The orientational structure is discussed with respect to the best available intermolecular potential. Comparison with other diatomic liquid is presented.
