Abstract
The cavitation technique was applied to the production of a noncrystalline phase of magnetite from a solution of oxidized iron-pentacarbonyl and decane. The fine powder thus obtained was characterized by means of X-ray,diffraction technique and the measured spectra are reported. The acoustic waves (having a frequency of about 19 kHz) allow us to produce a metastable compound which has not been observed so far.File in questo prodotto:
