the present paper report the study conducted in rabbits in order to evaluate the efficacy of an attenuated mixomatosis virus vaccine. The results demonstrated that the rabbits were resistent to challenge for a period of at least 8 months post-vaccination. During this period a high titer of neutralizing antibody was developed.
