In consideration of a hereditary non linear partial differential equation, for which we previously established an existence theorem [Atti Sem. Mat. Fis. Univ. Modena 29 (1980), no. 1, 166-186], we prove that a suitable discretization of E. Baiada's approximation method gives a numerical approximation of the exact solution, in the same range where this method provides the solution. The convergence rate is estimated.

Abstract
