We continue here our study of the properties of the Weierstrass-Cesari integral of the calculus of variations over BV curves. We deal here with integrands f(t,x') and prove existence, representation, semicontinuity and approximation results. Comparisons between the present formulation and those by Serrin or Lebesgue are carefully discussed.
