400 min after the adrninistration of a single dose of ethanol(7g/kg body wt) a noticeable increase of hepatic triglycerides takes pIace in the rat. This work reports the changes of some membrane-bound enzymes in rat liver in this condition. The activities of glucose-6-phosphatase, NADPH-reductase, 5'-nucleotidase and cytochrome c oxidase were affected in liver subcellular fractions after the adrninistration of ethanol. The most affected fractions were whole homogenates and plasma membranes. Possible reasons of these findings are discussed.
