Serological and histological researches in chickens vaccinated against infectious bursal disease. This study has been performed in order to evaluate the histological changes of thr bursa of fabricius in chickens previously vaccinated against infectious bursal disease and then regularly slaughtered. Since a high percentage of bursal changes (93,3%) has been detected in birds vaccinated against infectious bursal disease, various hypotheses have been pointed out to explain these findings. The results obtained suggest in that these changes are mainly the expression of an improper vaccination program.
