Identificazione sierologica e sensibilità a sostanze antimicrobiche di ceppi di "Escherichia coli" isolati in polli da carne con aerosacculite fibrinosa

Serological identification and antibiotic sensitivity of "Escherichia coli" strains isolated from broiler chickens suffering from "air sac disease". One hundred-fourtynine strains of "Escherichia coli" were isolated and identified from chickens with air sac disease. Most of the strains belonged to serotypes 0-78, 0-2 and 103. The results of the in vitro antibiotic sensivity test showed that nearly all of the strains were sensitive to nitrofurazone, while most of them were sensitive to nalidixic acid, kanamicin and neomycin.
