Abstract
A classical calculation of the gravitational radiation emitted by the normal modes of crystalline solids has been developed to investigate its possible use for laboratory sources. Moreover, a narrow-band emission from optical modes has been shown to exist. Since the thermal excitation leads to an unobservable radiation, a mechanism of coherent excitation of the optical modes has been suggested.File in questo prodotto:
