Abstract
Our results indicate that it is impossible to chracterize isolates of Sclerotium bataticola Taub. (= Macrophomina phaseolina (Tassi) Goid.); Tiarosporella phaseolina (Tassi ) Van der Aa) obtained from different plants (sunflower, sorghum, soybean and safflower) by using the chlorate sensitivity test. Indeed, strains isolated from the same species and from the same location reacted differently towards chlorate. The pathogenicity test proved the non-existence of host specialization by the parasite.File in questo prodotto:
