Abstract
A. Marston and co workers, in 1966, introduced the definition of Ischemic Colitis to include several syndromes caused by inappropriate colonic vascularization. Eventually B.C. Morson suggested the name Ischemic Colonic Disease, in order to include even more pathologies that could be related to an ischemic cause. We describe 7 cases of ischemic colonic disease observed during 30 months at the Clinica Chirurgica (Department of Surgery) of the University of Perugia, and we consider the clinical and pathological features of the disease, with a review of the international literature on the subjectFile in questo prodotto:
