Abstract
The optical variability of GC 0109+224, regularly monitored since 1994, exhibits an intermediate behaviour between the flickering and shot-noise, in the form of a 1/fα signal (1.57 < with hints of a sort of self-similarity in time and an intermittent behavior. The peaks distribution seems to follow a scaling law. This could be an imprint of the self-organized criticality at action in the emission processes through all sized avalanche effects.File in questo prodotto:
