Abstract
The synthesis of a novel diarylanthracene bearing two dihexyloxysubstituted benzene rings has been reported, and the influence as donor material on the solar cell performance has been investigated. The presence of hexyloxy chains in the molecule imparts a high solubility in the most common organic solvents and improves its dispersion in [6,6]-phenyl C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) for the preparation of bulk heterojunction (BHJ) solar cells. Devices fabricated with this new compound exhibit power conversion efficiencies up to 1.12% under a halogen tungsten lamp with an intensity of 41 mW/cm2File in questo prodotto:
