An experimental investigation was made on typical MCFC (Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell) materials to verify their suitability for noise insulation and absorption. For this purpose, a measurement campaign by an impedance tube has been carried out by varying the material porosity, width, mixture content and purity; multilayer elements were analyzed in order to determine the optima configuration.
