The Authors are discussing on their experience treating the gastric neoplasms extended out the organ. Here are considered 21 cases treated in Surgical Clinic of the University of Perugia during the period from 1987 to 1989, those cases were presented with seven women and fourteen men, with many extensions to nearby organs or metastasis at distance from the stomach. It has been pointed out that the surgical treatment with extended exeresis, has not produced an increasing of post operative erative complications. It has been underlined an improvement of long term survival rata, but most of ~ in the following life's quality. All this leads to conclude that neoplastic mass reduction takes profit in this kind of patients.
