The European project Algorithm for New Ecological Approaches to Inclusion (ECO‐IN) addressed the complex challenge of improving school inclusion through an ecological‐systemic approach that involves all members of the educational community. In this contribution, we present the key actions and products developed during the project, with a particular focus on the experimented training program and the Ecological Assessment Scale for Inclusion (EASI). The project aimed to enhance the quality of inclusive processes and addressed two fundamental research questions: how to improve school inclusion and how to assess it.

Abstract

The European project Algorithm for New Ecological Approaches to Inclusion (ECO‐IN) addressed the complex challenge of improving school inclusion through an ecological‐systemic approach that involves all members of the educational community. In this contribution, we present the key actions and products developed during the project, with a particular focus on the experimented training program and the Ecological Assessment Scale for Inclusion (EASI). The project aimed to enhance the quality of inclusive processes and addressed two fundamental research questions: how to improve school inclusion and how to assess it.
