The aim of this research is to consider whether the Chianina is suitable for organic farming, in particular as reguards to health and meat quality aspects, and if free range farming according to organic system could compromise the welfare of the animals. The meat trait recorded show the good quality of Chianina meat that was produced in the organic farm.
