Consumption of raw or undercooked pork meat products containing Toxoplasma gondii tissue cysts is an important risk factor for contracting infection in human. Fine tuning of diagnostic methods based on the research of anti-Toxoplasma gondii antibodies on swine meat juice would allow to monitor the presence of the parasite not only during primary production, but also in the processing industries. In this study good concordance between serum and meat juice were proved. nevertheless, a lack of perfect concordance between serological positive animals, titred 1/16, and meat juice suggest that this method coudl not reveal all the positive animals.
